How I love thee, IKEA, let me count the ways...

Actually, let me count my dollar bills as I buy another item from your inventory!! So my Easter weekend wasn't HALF of exciting as some of y'all's. On Easter Eve (Sat), we went to eat at Margaritaville in Woodbridge, and then headed over to IKEA at Potomac Mills. It never fails, we always walk out of there with something - and I just love the whole look and smell of the place and I could easily spend hours there. This time we were on a mission to buy not one but TWO dressers since the drawers on our old one broke. So we ended up finding some lovely dressers, plus other items, of course. And would you believe they actually had a STRING QUARTET playing in the Bedroom section??? We should have just started making out on one of the beds right there since they were setting the mood anyways...Well shopping was the easy part. The hardest part was bringing the two completely disassembled dressers (that came in 110lb boxes) up four flights of stairs to our apartment. I was cursing the whole time that we live on the top floor of our building. But we finally did it, assembled the dressers in about a couple of hours, moved all our clothes over and then - DONE. Now it looks like our bedroom is new all over again - whoopee! Easter itself, well, we actually didn't do much of anything. I did the Mass thing, of course. And then we went out for lunch at Potbellys since it was one of the only places open, and that's about it! Wasn't that enthralling??

I do love assembling stuff, so that must have been fun! By the way, how's the SONY doing?

You love assembling stuff? I'm terrible at it. I'm great at analyzing but when it comes to mechanical labor that involves tools & measurements, I suck.

The SONY is still going strong. Has it always made that quick buzz noise when it turns on?
